Christian Wichmann has been applying his brand knowledge at Brand:Trust, efficiently supporting his customers with the development as well as the implementation of their brand strategies. He drafts growth-oriented brand strategies for B2B and B2C clients and coordinates the realization of the results into operative business.  In addition, he helps his customers to practically apply and then maintain their brand strategies at all brand touch points.

As Senior Consultant, Christian Wichmann is intensively involved in the Consumer Goods & Retail, Financial Services & Real Estate and Energy & Materials sectors. He has developed brand strategies for Ingredient Brands like Gore Tex, for Luxury Brands like Chronoswiss, for financial services providers like the Building Savings Bank Bausparkasse Schwäbisch Hall, as well as for a number of B2B corporations (e.g. Pfeiffer Vacuum and Interroll). Christian Wichmann also focuses on „Employer Branding“ , the question of what strategies strong employer brands can use to attract and retain the best talents in their industries.

Career

Christian Wichmann feels right at home with financial services brands: during his banking education at Deutsche Bank, he learned the business from the start and then built on that knowledge at ING-Diba through his university years. He studied at the Sorbonne in Paris as well as at New York University, where he became familiar with PR and marketing practices. In New York, he also worked on brand and name strategies for Timberland, Avaya and Amway Cosmetics. His degree dissertation was on the topic „Markenbildungsprozesse im Kultursektor“(Brand Building Processes in the Cultural Sector). This knowledge was used for Brand:Trust for instance for the largest Museum of Cultural History in the German-speaking region, the Germanische Nationalmuseum.
